This is a major event in the swimming calendar and all swimmers who have achieved qualifying times are encouraged to enter.
Completed entry forms and cheques (payable to Flitwick Dolphins S.C.) to Alison Ormiston via the Club desk by Wednesday 24 January 2007 at the latest please (disregard instructions to the contrary in the Entry Pack). This deadline allows entry times to be used from the Biggleswade Open but there is a very tight turnaround so please return forms promptly.
The Beds ASA Entry Pack (PDF) contains individual entry forms, qualifying times, a full schedule and an overview of the BAGCAT points system. Predict your best event with a BAGCAT Points Calculator.
The Beds County ASA Championship 2007 website contains further information including full results from previous years.
Results from the Dolphins time trials are available here.

Important InformationThe main events start this weekend at the Saxon Pool, Biggleswade, Saturday and Sunday. The afternoon sessions start at 13:00, the warm-up starts at 12:00. You must be there for 11:45 and you must report to Diane so that she can mark you as present. If you are going to be late you must let her know, because any one not marked off by 12:10 will be reported to the Recorders as having withdrawn from the session, see below. The evening session times are to be arranged, but again there will be a 1hr warm-up and you must be there 15mins before this to report in to the coaches as above.
The Counties are cardless, i.e. you do not receive cards to hand in at each session. This means that if you have to withdraw from an event it must be reported to the Recorders at least 45mins before the start of the session. We will do this for you but you must tell either Diane or Nigel preferably well in advance (before the weekend, unless it is due to unexpected circumstances). If you do not have either Diane’s or Nigel’s mobile phone number you must make sure you get them. If a withdrawal is not reported you will be fined £5 by the organisers and stopped from swimming any more events until it is paid.
Check the Draft Entry Listing to make sure which events and sessions you are swimming in. You may be selected for the relay squads at the end of session 4, so you must check this prior to the weekend and before you leave the pool after the session. If your relay team gets a medal you should wait to receive it and to be photographed.
