Coventry Level3 Graded Summer Open Meet — 12 July 2008

The City of Coventry Swimming Club Level 3 Graded Summer Open Meet will be held at the 50m City of Coventry Pool, CV1 5RY on Saturday 12 July 2008.

This meet provides an excellent opportunity to practise in a 50m pool. All swimmers with qualifying times are encouraged to attend — ask your coach for a time trial if you do not have entry times. This meet is preferred over the Milton Keynes Open for all swimmers with entry times.

Consult your coach if you need advice on which meets to enter.

Coventry is not far away on the motorway and a team minibus will be arranged to take swimmers for a nominal charge if there is sufficient demand. Please let your coach know when returning your entry form if you would like to travel on the bus.

Please meet at Flitwick Leisure Centre at 6:15am ready to depart at 6:30am. Please bring a packed breakfast to eat on the bus (e.g. pasta/fruit) plus lunch/tea and some money for the café and a locker. No glass or alcohol. Remember to bring enough towels, dry clothes and swim wear for the number of sessions you are swimming and plenty of water.

All Dolphins swimmers who entered by the original deadline have been accepted. City of Coventry SC has confirmed that places are still available for individual applicants (as at 30 May), which may be of interest to swimmers rejected from the Leighton Buzzard Open. Please apply directly as soon as possible (contact details in entry pack) but pass a copy of your entry form to Nicola Simmons or your squad coach.
