We will be competing at the Champion of Champions event in Dover on Saturday 19 June.
This is a British Long Distance Swimming Association event and you have to be a member to participate. You can join through their web site. It comprises 5 mile, 3 mile and 1 mile swims, and you can do all three, two or one of them. Obviously, nine miles in one day will be challenging, and the sea will still be cold in June. So choose what you enter carefully based on what you have done before and discuss it with Becky. There is a link to the event entry page from the same web site. Enter yourself on-line but let Nigel Halford know if you have entered. Last year we had a nice meal in Dover afterwards and will probably do the same again.
