Beds ASA County Championships 1500m – March 2007
Flitwick Dolphins Swimming Club made a brilliant start to this year’s County Championships, with 8 of their swimmers putting in superb performances in the 1500m event on 3rd March.
Charlotte Beck, Rhianydd Jones, Leah Neary, Louise Simmons, Carl Halford, Aled Jones, Colin Weighell and Toby Willson all walked away with Regional Qualifying Times, with Charlotte winning Gold in the 12 year age group and Leah taking Bronze. Aled Jones not only won Gold in the Open age group but also achieved a National Qualifying Time and broke the Senior County Record in the 800m split.
The Club looks forward to building upon this success in the remaining two sessions during March.
